Neslihan Işık studied Interior Architecture at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts. In addition to her past education on architecture; she has earned her second diploma from Art Center College of Design located in Pasadena, Los Angeles, USA. The graduates of this specific school, have designed many products that make up our lives like iPhone, Mini, BMW, Peugeot and Samsung. As soon as Neslihan Işık graduated, she had the opportunity to work with the legendary brands of USA. As soon as she commenced working at Bottom & Duvivier company in 1999, she was assigned for working for the design of the “System Furniture” for Herman Miller within 9 months; thanks to her advanced computer skills, she not only helped the design team to finish the project 10 times faster but also managed to make the design of the accessories. Hence, with the impetus for the Herman Miller project, Eight Inc. she started working for another design agency in San Francisco. During her 4-year experience, she worked on interior adaptations of Apple stores. In 2004, after the decision to return to Turkey, she got to be the head of BMS Office Furniture Ind. A.Ş. which is family-owned company. Neslihan Işık now continues to develop designs for international companies.
